Our technology organizations are growing rapidly, resulting in many individuals taking on new roles in Engineering Management.  Many of these new leaders often struggle with psychological and emotional shift from individual contributor roles to suddenly leading a group of people.   

Developer First Tech Leadership conference is designed to facilitate meaningful conversations and provide attendees with new perspectives and strategies for becoming confident, admirable, and inspiring leaders in tech. 

Participants will hear from 25+ industry-leading experts on topics in a one-track format such as leading remote teams, vulnerability in Engineering, time management, fostering awesome team cultures, giving feedback, and more!

Developer First is a friendly community where everyone should feel welcome, safe and comfortable to share ideas and engage in open discussion.   It is vital for us to provide a harassment-free experience for everyone at the conference.

All attendees, volunteers, speakers, and sponsors are required to abide by our code of conduct.  Any violations will be dealt with seriously and may include being expelled and banned from events without a refund. Please read our code of conduct before registering for the event.

Michael Lopp is a veteran Silicon Valley-based engineering leader who builds both people and product at historic companies such as Slack, Borland, Netscape, Palantir, Pinterest, and Apple.

 

While he's not deeply worrying about staying relevant, he writes about backpacks, bridges, people, leadership, and werewolves at the popular weblog, Rands in Repose.
